Poetic Thoughts

As I sit beside the windows ,  dreaming bout the perfect past,  figurines of imaginations take shape  right under the shadows of trees  with the distorting light coloring them with a little  life.  The vision moves on and on  as I move through the traffic of a mundane life  devoid of moments that used to light up  a smile bright enough to switch on  the sparkles in my eyes.  Slowly but steadily my perfect pas t with the figurines move skyward where the clouds set the stage of perfect fantasy where I play the perfect role, the perfect me  his is just another day in the episodes of day  dreaming by yours truly .

Her hand clasped onto mine, we walk down a lane all to familiar to our lives. Years pass on and lane that was our boulevard of dreams... Which turned into a boulevard of broken dreams.  We spent that precious little time we had on that lane , her head on my shoulder, not a worry in our minds. Praying and hoping that the world just stops so we could stare into each other's eyes The perfect little love story of a boy and a girl which lasted a year Years pass on and the lane feels empty... Empty of emotion of, love of, magic , of life .  All that's left are the leaves that blow on by like they used to .

The last time I saw you in my memory I really began to feel you were a part of me. I don't know where that memory goes but the feeling of you Being with me lingers on despite the woes. How long the feeling lasts I don't know , maybe till I'm all alone? But as long as this feeling remains you are going to be a part of me.  Every sublime thought of the words you've said , the way you looked The dress you wore just washes away the emotions of Sadness But i know its just a wave ... Wave to take it all back.
